A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we headed down to the beach with Jamie and her family and Michael Banks who was visiting from BYU-Idaho. It was a perfect beach day although the water was still way too cold for me but the kids loved it. This was Luke's first time playing in the sand and water and he loved it!!!!

I love this picture. In this picture Luke has a ring of sand around his mouth, I am not quite sure how much sand he ate yesterday.
I love this picture of Mackenzie and Dave, she was so cold from the water, she was just cuddling up with her daddy. Too cute
Micheal came down for a visit in between semesters at BYU-Idaho. He served his mission in San Diego and just left in November, so he thought it was pretty cool to be able to enjoy the beach while he was here. He had a surfing lesson with Rob. Michael was one of Rob's young men in Indiana and we have been able to watch him grow up to be a wonderful young man. He has overcome a lot and we are so proud of the choices he has made and the person he has become. Thanks for coming to see us Mike, we had a great time.

Happy Easter everyone. I hope everyone had a great day. We had a fun day. The kids woke up to find their hidden Easter baskets and because church doesn't start until 1 we had a nice morning getting everything ready for our family dinner tonight. We had a really nice Sacrament meeting program with beautiful music and Rob and I were the narrators. (Thanks Kim for watching the kiddies).

It is always so much fun to see the kids in their new clothes. I love seeing them all dressed up.
Lance and Aimee came down from L.A. It's always fun to have the cousins together.
cTanner and cute little Jackson. I love his blue eyes and his old man hair.
Luke loves his sister
My sister in law Aimee took these cute ones of Luke. I know there are a lot of pics but he is a cutie.

And after 8 hours of candy and sweets, this is how we all felt by the end of the day.

It's TWINS

We just found out our family is growing! Two more on the way! We couldn't be happier! Tanner, Bekah and Kyle are so excited. Luke may be a little miffed that he is being upstaged not only by a younger sibling but by the fact that there will be two. Has anyone figured out that it is April Fool's?
