April...Mormon Battalion and Spring Break

My aunt and uncle from Omaha came to visit for my cousin Austin's spring break. We had a great time. We decided to head down to Old Town to visit the new Mormon Battalion visitor center and it is amazing. It has been closed for about a year, and they did an awesome job. The tour is great and then you can pan for gold after.

My dad and his sister Shelly. It was so fun to have them stay with us, we wish they lived closer, we don't see them enough.

For our Spring Break I decided to take the kids to Vegas to meet up with some friends in our ward. I asked my sister to come with us, and like me she is always up for a road trip, so we all headed up and we had a great time. We found a great place there which is a warehouse of trampolines. The kids had a fun time and burned off lots of energy, but unfortunately this is the only picture I have from it.

We did a lot of swimming. Our hotel had a kiddie pool so that saved me with Luke. The kids love to swim!!!!
Here they are with their Mardi Gras beads. The dealers inside the casino loved giving our kids these beads, I am not sure why but our kids loved them.
Everytime we are in Vegas we have to hit up Cafe Rio and Nielsen's frozen custard. Here are the kids with our friends the James' kids from our ward. We always have a great time with them.

March

This past March I was able to go up to Idaho with my parents and my sisters family. My nephew turned 12 and was being ordained as a deacon and they also blessed their cute little baby Elizabeth. I was glad I was able to go and see them. We don't get to see them very often.
Baby Elizabeth

Kyle turned 6. He requested green rice krispy treats since his birthday is on St. Patty's day.

Tanner was Lou Gherig at the 5th grade wax museum. Luckily he is on the Yankees this year so he already had his uniform ready, that is his buddy in the background who was Babe Ruth.
Tanner also had his first band concert. In 5th grade it is mandatory for them to play an instrument. Tanner chose the trumpet. Let's just say this is probably his last concert as well, this is definitely not his favorite thing to do but he has tried and I don't think he will be the next Kenny G, oh well hopefully the NBA works out for him:)

February

February was a fun month. We went to Disneyland for Mackenzie's 3rd birthday. It was so fun for her. She loved all the princesses and we had fun spending the day with her.

My little Luke turned 2. I can't believe how fast time goes. He is getting so big. He has such a fun personality and he has been such a joy to have. He loves his brothers and his sister and they love having him around. Tanner even recently mastered the skill of changing diapers. Now that is true love!!!
Here he is with all of his loot, nothing spoiled about him:)
Bekah got the Fairness/Justice award for her class at school. Here she is with her friend Madisen who also got the award for her class. It was pajama day at school, she doesn't usually wear pajamas to school I promise.
