IT WORKED!!!!!!

For those of you who know my sister Jamie and her husband Dave you know that they have struggled with infertility. They have a beautiful 2 year old, Mackenzie and have been trying for number 2. She went in for invitro last month and they found out today that it worked and she is pregnant. We are so excited for them. Dave and Jamie are such wonderful parents and this little spirit that is coming down is so lucky to have them for parents. I am so happy for them and I can't wait to hold their sweet little baby!!! The hard part will be waiting until December.

Daddy Daughter Date Night

A couple of weeks ago Robert took Bekah to the Achievement Day Girls daddy daughter night. It was a western theme and they had yummy fried chicken and corn on the cob. Then they learned some line dancing. Robert didn't have his camera with him at the church but here are a couple of pictures before they left. They had a great time.

Happy Birthday Kyle!!!

Well my St. Patty's Day baby turned 5. I can't believe it. I let him choose breakfast and he chose McDonald's so we headed over there this morning, then later on we headed to the park with our cousins. Shauna and the kids are in town this week so we had fun playing together today.

A group shot with all the cousins.

Cute little Madison. Cutest little smile.
Luke and Ryland not loving the swings.
Madison, Rebekah, and Skyler. We wish they lived closer.
Back at the house for a barbecue and cake and presents.
Kyle is such a fun little guy to have around all the time. I am going to miss him when he starts school. He is such a great companion to me and he has become my shopping buddy. He wakes up in the morning and wants to know where we are going that day. He sure loves his brothers and sister and loves playing with them whenever he can. He loves it when they come home from school. We are lucky to have him in our family and we sure love his sweet little spirit.

Hey mom, is that you???

Let me first preface this post by telling you that we do not buy the swimsuit edition of SI. We do however subscribe to this magazine all year long, so by default this magazine comes to our home. Usually I send the kids out to get the mail but this time of year I tried to intercept it. So after I browsed through it and saw nothing of value for Robert to look at:) I threw it in my trash in my bathroom. Well yesterday I was in my room and Kyle came in with the magazine and very nicely and quite sincerely asked, "Mom is that you?" as he pointed to the cover model. I smiled and said no honey that is not me. I sure love that boy!!!!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!!!!

This past weekend I met some of my very best girlfriends from Indiana in LA and we had the time of our lives. We talked, ate, shopped, ate, drove a lot, laughed, ate, hot tubbed, and had a great time. Sorry for all the photos but since I use this as my scrapbook I had to post them.

Here we are in front of the Jimmy Kimmel studio. We went to a taping that was really fun.

While we were waiting to go to Jimmy Kimmel we found a great "vintage" store and we had a great time trying on some great fashions. This fur coat actually looked like a german sheperd it was gross.
Leanne was pretty sure they had her prom dress.
Had to get pedicures.
We went shopping to Santee Alley and I had to go to the bathroom so bad, this was the bathroom I had to use, after borrowing fifty cents to go, this is the rationed toilet paper that the attendant handed me. It was pretty funny

Eating sushi, ok well for me it was only California Rolls maybe I will venture out someday but this restaurant had the best California Rolls I have ever had. We were in Little Tokyo so of course it was good.
How lucky were we that Pinkberry was right across the street. YUMMY!!!!
This was such a fun drive up to the sign. The homes in the Hollywood Hills were beautiful. We wanted a star sighting but it didn't happen. I know we passed some of their homes though.

Can't go wrong with good ole In-n-Out
Yummy Diddy Reese cookies by UCLA super cheap and super good

LaDawn,me, Julie,Joanna, and Leanne at the Santa Monica pier on our last night together. I am so blessed to have these ladies in my life. They have taught me so much about life and the kind of mom, wife and woman that I want to be. Thank you for a fabulous weekend and I can't wait until next year!!!!
